Cet autoportrait représente la démarche artistique de l’artiste, Kyoko Kasuya à travers l’objet du manteau imperméable. Elle pense que son rôle en tant qu’artiste est proche d’un enquêteur, investiguant et vivant entre plusieurs pays, plusieurs histoires, et cherchant des indices quant à notre Histoire commune.

This self-portrait represents my artistic approach through an object: an impermeable coat. It seems to Kyoko Kasuya that her role as an artist is close to that of an investigator, examining and living between several countries, several histories, and seeking out clues about our shared History.
